Do you know how much your child weighs down to the ounce? Do you avoid making eye contact with your child after he or she loses a match until your child approaches you? Do you find yourself wearing the school colors every day whether or not you are attending a meet or tournament?

Any recipes or crock pot ideas on what to feed our wrestlers at tournements? Especially for breakfast It’s always a challenger to find something high in protein that will stay hot in a crock pot without drying out and that won’t upset their stomachs.

Oh my, a crock pot! You are much nicer than I am. Plus, there isn’t always a plug! I hear you, though, anything to avoid the orange cheese-covered goo at the tournaments.
SOmetimes I make that egg casserole thing with bread on the bottom (whole wheat)in a sprayed pyrex pan. Combine about 10-12 eggs with salsa, throw in low fat cheese and any leftover vegetables or fresh spinach, bake at 350 for about 30 minutes until done in center. Cut those in squares. Neat, tasty, good for them.
I also bring tons of tangerines, bags of vegetables, sandwiches in a cooler. Another mom, Paula, brings bagels for all the wrestlers to share. Sometimes I make quesadillas with vegetables and chicken and bring those. Not so great freezing cold, but good for lunch.
And my friends, Caryn and Paula and I have started walking around the gyms for 20 minutes (up and down stairs, too) so we can get some exercise in the long stretches in between. We say we will be in great shape by state! Some ideas. I am still thinking about the crock pot! You carry the stadium seats, too?
